Per- and PolyFluoroAlkyl Substances have become an emerging contaminant concern Earth-wide. As 'Forever' chemicals, they are being explored for long-term health concerns - including multiple different exposure routes. With recently released EPA Health Advisory limits, testing for PFAS in all matrices, including air, isn't far behind. We will discuss sampling and laboratory methods currently known to analyze the thousands of PFAS compounds and their smaller-chain breakdown cousins (TOFS/TOPS).
