"Evolving the Indoor Environmental Industry" Presented by Bob Krell, Healthy Indoors Magazine
This presentation will be a fast-paced look at the Indoor Environmental Industry, from its origins several decades ago through the present day and beyond. Bob will discuss the industry’s early days in the 1980s-1990s, when the terms Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and Sick Building Syndrome (SBS) came into being and organizations like IAQA, were created. The new century brought us the “Mold Rush of 2000”, and with it, the industry’s new poster child: Toxic Black Mold! The keynote session will take a look at where we are today and, more importantly, where we need to go to better address the evolving needs for healthy and sustainable indoor environments.
