While this has been identified as a concern since at least 2004, why is not getting more attention nationwide? What is the history of mercury in gym floors, how did it get there? What are the health hazards and exposure risks associated with these floors? How are the floors assessed for mercury content? What solutions are available to schools if mercury is present?
